They will make their appearance in May 2011 on the premiere women's morning show 'The Balancing Act', which airs on Lifetime Television.
Special guest Joe Haslem, Brand Manager for Volvo Cars of North America, will join the show to talk with viewers about vehicle safety features, including City Safety and Pedestrian Detection with Full Auto Brake-- a world's first technology from Volvo.
Haslem will show 'The Balancing Act' viewers how City Safety is an important innovation in helping to prevent accidents. It supports the driver in avoiding accidents by monitoring the area in front of the vehicle and th cadillac e driver's activity. If the driver fails to react and the vehicle is about to have a collision with another vehicle-- the car will intervene and either stop the car before the accident (speeds of 9 mph or less) or mitigate the severity of the accident (speeds of 10 mph to 18 mph).
